Mahinda Club successfully hosted “Thunsara Sisilasa”, a memorable musical evening on 22 August 2026 at the Museaus College Auditorium, Colombo.
The evening featured three distinctive voices of Sri Lankan music — veteran musician and singer Jagath Wickramasinghe, acclaimed vocalist Shashika Nisansala, and popular young singer Mihindu Ariyaratne. Their heartfelt performances created a soothing and captivating musical experience, bringing timeless and contemporary Sinhala music to life and evoking cherished memories among the audience.
The evening was further enriched by the musical direction of Sachi Maduranga, while Kelum Srimal hosted the event.
Beyond the music and entertainment, Thunsara Sisilasa was organised with a meaningful purpose. The proceeds from the event will be channelled towards the Mahinda College Hostel Renovation Project, supporting ongoing efforts to improve facilities for the students of Mahinda College.
The event marked another successful initiative by Mahinda Club, bringing Mahindians and music lovers together while contributing towards the development of the College and its community.
Mahinda Club extends its sincere appreciation to all the artists, organisers, sponsors, supporters and everyone who joined us and contributed to making Thunsara Sisilasa a memorable success.
